The new issue of the Italian literary magazine "K" from Linkiesta will be dedicated to the memory of the Ukrainian writer Victoria Amelina, who lost her life due to severe injuries she sustained in a Russian attack on Kramatorsk on June 27.
This was announced by essayist and translator Yaryna Grusha.
The magazine issue will explore the theme of "home," one of the central motifs in Amelina's literary work. It includes one of the writer's texts and the poem "A Story for Returning," translated by Hrusha.
"The lines from Vika's poem are accompanied by photographs taken by Matteo Bellomo and Stefania Zanetti of the dearest things that Ukrainians placed in their anxious suitcases," the translator added.
The issue will be published on October 27.
