The Russian invaders in the new offensive in the Donbas, which they launched on Monday, are pursuing four goals at once.
They were voiced by Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President's Office, in an interview with Mark Feygin. At the same time, Arestovich said that the offensive began on Sunday, April 17.
The first task of the Russians, the speaker of the head of the Presidential Office, called the seizure of territory in the Rubizhne-Popasnaya-Severodonetsk section in the Lugansk region.
"They 'took' Kremennaya there today. In fact, they didn't take anything, there are street fights, the city is in the 'gray zone,'" he specified. According to him, the enemy is trying to 'cut off' these settlements from the 'mainland'.
The second direction is the offensive from Izyum (Kharkiv region) to Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.
"Thousand 25 troops, who want to defeat us all joyfully, are advancing," Arestovich noted ironically.
The remaining areas he named the area of ââGulyaipole (Zaporizhzhia region) and Mariupol.
"The Kherson direction is the opposite of the Kharkiv one, ours stomped forward joyfully," the adviser to the head of the OP said.
Note that President Volodymyr Zelensky has already confirmed the beginning of a new stage of the Russian offensive. During the day and evening of April 18, the enemy is actively shelled the eastern and southern regions.
