The State Aviation Administration of Ukraine allowed the new Ukrainian low-cost Bees Airline to start flights on 16 charter and 13 regular routes.
The regular network from Kyiv will include Burgas, Heraklion, Rhodes, Batumi, Araxos, Alicante, Barcelona, ââTirana, Varna and Larnaca. Also, Bees Airline was allowed to launch regular flights from Odessa to Tbilisi and Yerevan, from L'viv to Yerevan.
Bees Airline has launched an official website where you can find information about the management, fleet, fares and other important details about the carrier. The base airport for the airline is Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport. The airline chose this airport due to its convenient location just 7 km from the city center, it should contribute to the passengers' comfort during their journey.
According to open data, the owner of the carrier is the Ukrainian businessman Serhiy Smyrny. His connection with the tourism business can be traced through another of his companies - the agricultural "Continent", registered in the Transcarpathian region. Its co-owner is also Serhiy Burtyn, who, in turn, is the owner of the Ukrainian tour operator Tez Tour.

At the beginning of operations the airline's fleet will have two medium-haul aircraft Boeing 737-800 NG with 189 seats. The airline has signed contracts for the supply of two more similar aircraft. According to Dzhijora, the third plane will arrive in Ukraine in May, and the fourth in June.
The pilots of Bees Airline are skilled with flight experience over 20 years, more than 10 000 flight hours and avarage age of 50 years old, co-pilots are younger - around 30 years old.
Bees Airline has already started charter flights from Kyiv and L'viv to Egypt.
