Starting from June 9th, Ukrzaliznytsia is adding a new high-speed Intercity+ train, No. 741/742, to the Kyiv-Lviv route.
The double-decker electric train, Škoda City Elefant, will depart from Kyiv on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 14:45, passing through Korosten and Pidzamche before arriving in Lviv at 20:56.
In return, the train will depart from Lviv on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 8:10 and arrive in Kyiv at 14:10.
Ukrzaliznytsia purchased two double-decker electric trains, Skoda EJ675 City Elephants, in 2012 ahead of the European Football Championship. These trains were refurbished in 2021-2022.
