The Ukrainian Institute has handed over books from the Faktor-Druk printing house, which survived the Russian shelling of Kharkiv, to the Cambridge University Library.

The Ukrainian Institute announced this on its Facebook page.

The preserved books are now part of the Slavic Collection at Cambridge University. Previously, these editions were presented at an international conference in Washington, and some damaged copies were also displayed at a PACE exhibition.

"Books, even when damaged, continue to tell their stories," noted Tetyana Filevska, Creative Director of the Ukrainian Institute.

According to her, Mel Bach, the curator of the Cambridge Library, has initiated the use of Ukrainian transliteration and the organization of books according to the Ukrainian alphabet.

Moreover, this is not the last institution to receive the surviving books.
