Basketball team "Odessa" signed the Irish-American power forward for upcoming 2021-22 season. The heavyweight Brian Fitzpatrick is an Irish-American professional basketball player who plays the power forward position has become the sixth newcomer to the Odessa basketball team this summer.

31-year-old Brian Fitzpatrick (height - 203 cm, weight - 107 kg). He has represented the Irish National Team and played college basketball at  Bucknell University.

Fitzpatrick played last season at Haukar (Hafnarfjörður, Iceland) in Icelandic D1 league. The previous season he played at San Martín de Corrientes (Corrientes, Argentine). He also represented Ireland at the European Championship for Small Countries in Moldova few years ago. Fitzpatrick has played professionally in Denmark (Horsens IC), Sweden (Boras Basket), Greece (Panionios and Rethymno), Czech Republic (Prostejov) and Japan (Levanga Hokkaido Sapporo).

Earlier, the newcomers of BC "Odessa" were the Ukrainians Andrey Agafonov and Kirill Marchenko, the American Evan Singletari and the Latvians Lauris Blaus and Toms Leimanis.
