Since the onset of large-scale military aggression by Russia, the Czech Republic has provided Ukraine with defensive aid amounting to a total of 6.75 billion Czech korunas (approximately 288.42 million USD).

This was announced by Czech Defense Minister Jana Černochová, according to Radio Prague International.

She noted that all the weapons and equipment transferred from Czech army stocks to Ukraine as part of defense support were always approved by the government in a non-public, secret mode for security reasons.

However, the Cabinet of Ministers has now declassified the list at the request of the Defense Minister. The aid provided by Prague to Ukraine includes:

  • 62 tanks,
  • 131 infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs),
  • 26 armored personnel carriers (APCs),
  • 16 complete air defense systems,
  • 47 vehicles,
  • 13 howitzers,
  • 12 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS),
  • 4.2 million rounds of ammunition.

It is worth noting that the statement does not specify the Czech initiative regarding the transfer of artillery shells to Ukraine.
