The majority of the crew of the Russian BDK "Caesar Kunikov," which was destroyed in the Black Sea, did not manage to survive.
This information was reported by a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov.
"According to preliminary information, the majority of the crew of the BDK 'Caesar Kunikov' did not manage to survive. The ship was carrying cargo - ammunition. The 'Caesar Kunikov' has been completely destroyed, it sank, and is not subject to recovery," he said.
Yusov mentioned that the explosions reported by eyewitnesses during the operation to destroy the vessel could have included explosions of the ammunition on board the ship.
"We are not yet reporting on additional affected targets," Yusov stated.
