Finnish company Peikko Group Corporation has launched a factory for the production of concrete connections and composite structures in the Bila Tserkva industrial park.
Dmytro Kysylevskyi, Deputy Chair of the Verkhovna Rada's Economic Development Committee, stated that Peikko Group's investment in the project will amount to €3 million over two years, and the plant will create about 50 jobs.
The factory will specialize in the production of concrete connections and composite structures.
It was also reported that the equipment import will begin in May, followed by the start of production for the construction industry. Peikko Group is taking advantage of the benefits for industrial park participants, including exemptions from VAT and import duties on equipment.
Peikko Group operates in 30 countries across the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and North America, with manufacturing facilities in 12 countries. Since 2023, Peikko Ukraine has been active in the country, supporting infrastructure recovery. In 2023, Peikko's annual turnover was €262 million.
