The Ministry of Economy of Georgia reported that, following a government decree, 1.5 million lari (about $562,000) was allocated to purchase generators for Ukraine. This was reported by the newspaper "News of Georgia".

Currently, a search for supplier companies and procurement is underway. Various types of generators will be sent to Ukraine as humanitarian aid.

With winter approaching, Russia has made Ukraine's energy system the main target of its attacks. In many cities of Ukraine, there is no light or heat. Local authorities are creating heating points where there is boiling water, you can charge mobile phones and get first aid.

These days, generators and transformers for Ukraine are sent from many countries - both small and large power. The European Parliament launched the "Generators of Hope" campaign, which has already covered more than 200 major European cities.

In Georgia, the country's residents reacted to Ukraine's request for help faster than the authorities. About four thousand people in two weeks raised money for a batch of small generators, which have already been sent to Kyiv.
