Germany allocates Ukraine a short-term package of military assistance worth 100 million euros.

This was reported on the official website of the German Ministry of Defense.

The package includes ammunition for drones, trucks, spare parts for various weapons and equipment.

The new aid package was announced by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius during a meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the 'Ramstein' format, which took place on February 14.

The minister noted that the Inspector General of the Bundeswehr, General Carsten Breuer, met with the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, in Kyiv during his visit to Ukraine last week. And he promised short-term assistance in the amount of over 100 million euros.

The package also includes armored vehicles with reinforced mine protection (MRAP), ammunition for small drone weapons, 77 trucks, medical equipment, and sets of spare parts for various weapons systems.

This equipment has already been delivered or will be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine soon. According to the minister, supplies and repairs in the third year of the war will become even more important than before, as specified in the press release of the German Ministry of Defense.

Boris Pistorius emphasized that Germany provides military assistance to Ukraine almost every day.

According to him, Ukrainian troops recently received missiles for the IRIS-T SLS air defense system, 155mm artillery shells, six demining vehicles, a bridge layer, an engineering vehicle, as well as armored vehicles and reconnaissance drones.

Additionally, Germany will enhance Ukraine's capabilities for military equipment repair. For this purpose, German industry will build the first repair facilities in Ukraine by the summer of this year.
