Alex Yusupov, the brand-chef of the sommelier of Myasomarket, the Ukrainian chain of stores, held a master class on cooking the perfect hamburger in Odessa.
Myasomarket is a new format of ânear homeâ stores. Here visitors are offered not only high-quality and fresh products, but also a special kind of service. Actually, there are no sellers in the store, and the guests are welcome by "meat sommeliers". They know everything about meat and how to prepare it, so they help with the choice and share recipes. The profession of meat sommeliers will be taught at the first School of meat sommeliers in Ukraine by MHP. Alex Yusupov plays a key role in the development of the School's course programme.
On Friday, in Odessa, Alex gave a free master class near the Myasomarket. The brand chef sommelier shared tips on how to choose the right products for a burger, where to buy meat, how to make a juicy cutlet and how to fry it. He not only told the recipe for the perfect hamburger at home, but also clearly showed everything: he prepared hamburgers for guests, which could be bought and tasted.
Alex Yusupov offered the participants of the master class simple but effective advice. For example, how to properly cook juicy and tasty cutlets? You need the perfect mince: 70% beef entrecote and 30% beef fat. It is better to put the cutlets in the refrigerator for several hours before cooking. Besides the cutlet, the hamburger consists of a brioche bun, cheese, lettuce, cucumbers, onions and a special sauce. The recipe for the sauce is very simple and can be made from those products that anybody always has in the refrigerator at home. To do this, you only need mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup and pickle from cucumbers.
Of course, products for making a hamburger can be found in the Myasomarket: from brioche buns to fresh vegetables and different types of meats. The on-site meat sommelier will be ready to help customers assemble their grocery basket and remind them the hamburger recipe.
