The Russian Armed Forces have launched two missile strikes on the Odessa region, as reported by the operational command "South" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Explosions were heard in Chornomorsk (30 kilometers from Odessa).
According to Ukrainian military sources, Russian forces from tactical aviation aircraft in the Black Sea fired a missile at an airbase targeting a resort cooperative.
Oleg Kiper, the head of the regional administration, stated that three people were injured, including a 96-year-old woman who was rescued from the debris of her house. She has been hospitalized in stable condition. Two other injured men, aged 72 and 73, sustained minor injuries and received on-site medical assistance.
Additionally, the rocket strike hit the port infrastructure of the Odessa region. It is presumed that a supersonic Oniks missile was used. There were no casualties reported, and the extent of the damage is being assessed.
