28 aerial targets downed: 5  missiles and 23 attack drones

On the night of June 27, 2024, Russian forces launched a missile and aviation strike on Ukraine, using air-launched and sea-launched missiles, as well as Shahed-type attack drones.

In total, the Russian forces deployed 6 missiles of various types and 23 Shahed attack drones:

  • 1 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile (from the airspace over the Tambov region of Russia);
  • 4 Kalibr cruise missiles (from the northeastern part of the Black Sea);
  • 1 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided aviation missile (from the airspace over the Kursk region of Russia);
  • 23 Shahed attack drones (launched from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region of Russia).

As a result of the air defense battle, 28 aerial targets were downed:

  • 4 Kalibr cruise missiles;
  • 1 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided aviation missile;
  • 23 Shahed attack drones.

 

A monitoring group has shown the approximate route of the missiles and drones from last night
