After a massive Russian attack over the weekend, approximately 32,000 consumers in Odessa region remain without power, Acting Energy Minister Artem Nekrasov reported.
“Emergency restoration work is ongoing in Odessa, which was heavily affected by the large-scale attacks on energy infrastructure on December 13 and 14. As of now, about 32,000 subscribers are still waiting for power to be restored since the weekend,” Nekrasov said during a briefing at the Ministry of Energy on Wednesday, broadcast online.

Earlier reports noted that the Russian attacks left over 600,000 subscribers in Odessa and the region without electricity, accounting for more than half of all consumers in the area.
