On the night of October 13, Ukrainian defense forces shot down 31 Russian attack drones, with 36 Russian drones lost in location.

This was reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

"The Russian forces struck the Poltava and Odessa regions with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied Crimea, two X-59 guided aviation missiles at Chernihiv and Sumy from the airspace of the Kursk region, as well as 68 attack drones from Kursk and Oryol, Russia," the report stated.

 

Anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the attack.

As a result of the air battle, 31 drones were shot down in Kyiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Cherkasy regions.

36 Russian drones were lost in various regions of Ukraine, likely due to active electronic warfare countermeasures.

The information is being clarified, according to the Air Forces.
