Experts from the main center for special monitoring observed an earthquake in the Black Sea near Snake Island.

The earthquake occurred at around 7:00 PM. The experts at the center assessed it as weak and gave it a magnitude of 2.7 on the Richter scale.
According to the employees, the vibrations may be felt by residents on the upper floors who are inside buildings.
"The epicenter of the earthquake is located in the Black Sea, 17 km south of Snake Island, at a depth of 5 km. According to earthquake classification, it is considered barely noticeable. The vibrations are only felt by individual people who are in a calm state inside buildings, especially on the upper floors," the center stated.
