Russia uses Western machinery for arms production. Their total value reaches hundreds of millions of dollars.

This was reported by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, in Telegram.

He stated that Russians utilize Western computer numerical control (CNC) machines in their manufacturing processes. The question also arises as to where they obtain the software to operate these machines.

"In essence, all this concerns the weapons that are being used to kill us," emphasized Yermak.

He specified that the total value of Western machinery and spare parts available to Russia in 2023 amounted to $335 million, of which $231.6 million constituted the machines themselves, and $123.3 million were spare parts.

"Without these machines, Russia would not be able to produce weapons or wage war," added the head of the Office of the President.

Let's remember, in the past month, Russian occupiers have intensified their shelling of Ukraine using their missiles and drones. For the production of such weaponry, the enemy utilizes foreign components.

Foreign-made components have been repeatedly found in Russian missiles. Some of these were even manufactured by companies from countries allied with Ukraine.
