Ukrainian military will receive over 2,000 domestically produced drones as part of the state project "Army of Drones," according to the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will distribute and deliver the drones to military units on the most critical frontlines.
Fedorov mentioned that the batch includes exclusively Ukrainian-manufactured drones, such as helicopters and UAVs of various types: reconnaissance drones, kamikaze drones, and multi-use bombers. These drones will aid in targeting enemy positions and equipment.
The minister added that during the past week, the drones have successfully targeted 39 tanks, 57 artillery pieces, 34 armored vehicles, and 307 support points. Fedorov emphasized that the drones have caused significant financial losses to the Russian army.
