Belgium has decided to send 50 of its soldiers and two aircraft to Denmark for the training of Ukrainian military personnel on F-16s. They will stay there for eight weeks.
This was reported by Beldefnews.
The publication states that this Monday, the Minister of Defense of Belgium, Ludivine Dedonder, and the Chief of Defense of the Belgian Armed Forces, Admiral Michel Hofman, visited the training site in Denmark.
"As minister, I am proud that our aviation component can participate in this important training program for Ukrainian pilots, auxiliary, and technical personnel," Dedonder said.
For the operation of the F-16 fleet, the technical part is as important as the flying part, so the Ministry of Defense cooperates with partners in the Belgian defense industry not only for training Ukrainian technical specialists but also for providing the necessary technical support for the air fleet.
