During an air raid triggered by Russian shelling on the evening of June 10, a high-voltage transmission line supplying the occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant was disconnected. As a result, the plant switched to diesel generators.

According to Ukrenergo, there are currently no safe conditions to inspect the damaged power line. The current complete blackout at the Zaporizhzhia NPP is the 19th since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

Due to Russian drone strikes and artillery shelling, consumers in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions were left without electricity as of the morning.

At the same time, electricity consumption has decreased. On June 11, as of 09:30, it was 1.2% lower than at the same time the previous day, Wednesday, June 10.

The change is attributed to clear weather conditions across Ukraine.

Ukrenergo is urging consumers to shift the use of high-power electrical appliances to the hours of peak solar generation from 10:00 to 15:00.

At the same time, they are encouraged to conserve electricity during evening hours from 18:00 to 22:00.
