Huless, a developer of military communication systems and a participant in the Brave1 defense tech cluster, has raised $1 million to advance its project.
This was announced by Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology and Minister of Digital Transformation.
The funding was secured from international investors, a grant from Brave1, and a loan from a state bank. According to the statement, the company plans to use these funds to develop the Highline-T drone-based mobile military communication ecosystem.
Fedorov noted that the company connected with investors during the Defense Tech Valley summit organized by Brave1.
The Highline-T drones are tethered to an operator's control station, can hover at an altitude of 100 meters, and function effectively even in electronic warfare conditions. They are equipped with a relay system that extends communication range between operators and UAVs conducting reconnaissance or combat missions.
Fedorov emphasized that an increasing number of Ukrainian defense tech teams are attracting millions in private investment.
“Our innovations are trusted and relied upon. We are already creating technologies that no other country has. That’s why investing in Ukrainian defense tech is not just a contribution to Ukraine’s security but also to NATO’s defense capabilities,” he stated.
