Restoration of control by Ukrainian forces over the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant in the Kharkiv region will facilitate further counteroffensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the north of the city. This was reported by the UK Ministry of Defense on social media, referencing intelligence data.

The report states that at the end of September, Ukrainian forces regained control of the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant in Kharkiv region. The facility had served as a stronghold for the Russian army, allowing Russia to conduct tactical operations on the Vovcha River.

The British Ministry of Defense suggests that the loss of control over the aggregate plant will limit the operational capabilities of Russian ground forces in the Kharkiv region.

"Ukraine's control over the plant is likely to support a counteroffensive in the north of the city, pushing Russian ground forces back toward the Ukrainian-Russian border," British intelligence analysts believe.

Experts also noted that Russia has redeployed troops from the Vovchansk area to support operations in the Kursk region. According to British intelligence assessments, this has almost certainly diminished the capabilities of Russian ground forces in the Vovchansk area.
