The advance of Russian forces in the area of Avdiivka has slowed down in recent weeks.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defence of Britain on Twitter.
According to the summary, Russian forces continue to concentrate on operations in the Donetsk region, achieving limited success. Russians attempted to expand areas of confrontation to the northwest of Donetsk. Battles are taking place for a number of settlements, including Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske.
"The Russian advance has slowed down in recent weeks, probably partly due to significant losses during the campaign in Avdiivka," intelligence suggests.
The Ministry of Defence of Britain notes that the situation on this section of the front remains unstable, and the shortage of personnel and ammunition in the Ukrainian forces likely limits their ability to hold positions.
