After the poisoning of the wife of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Marianna Budanova, the Ministry of Defense's intelligence agency has taken all necessary measures. The condition of Kyrylo Budanov's wife and the poisoned Main Intelligence Directorate employees is acceptable, according to a statement by intelligence service representative Andriy Yusov during a television marathon.

"The well-being is acceptable. Treatment is ongoing. Hospitalization has ended. It's a prolonged course of treatment. Doctors promptly noticed and prevented possible adverse effects," he said.

Yusov also commented on the investigation into the poisoning.

"It's not a fast process. As soon as there are results that can be communicated to the public, it will be done. After the poisoning in the GUR, additional security measures were taken. All necessary actions and conclusions have been made," concluded the representative.

On November 28, it became known about the poisoning of Kyrylo Budanov's wife. Main Intelligence Directorate representative Andriy Yusov confirmed that she is in the hospital, but her life is not in danger. According to the media, Marianna Budanova could have been poisoned with mercury and arsenic.
