"The situation on the Eastern front has significantly escalated in recent days. This is primarily due to a considerable increase in enemy offensive actions following the presidential elections in the Russian Federation.
The enemy is actively attacking our positions in the Limansk and Bakhmut directions with assault groups supported by armored vehicles. On the Pokrovsky front, they are attempting to breach our defenses using dozens of tanks and BMPs. This is facilitated by the warm, dry weather, which has made much of the open terrain accessible to tanks. Despite significant losses, the enemy is increasing its efforts by deploying new units with armored vehicles, occasionally achieving tactical success.
Therefore, the first day of my work in the operation area is dedicated to this direction and taking all necessary measures to stabilize the situation, enhance the effectiveness of our troops' actions, and inflict maximum losses on the enemy units. Based on the assessment of the enemy's actions, decisions have been made to strengthen the most problematic defense areas with EW and air defense assets. Additionally, stocks of drones of all types and anti-tank missiles have been replenished, and additional reserves of forces and assets have been mobilized.
Once again, the question arises of achieving technological superiority over the enemy in high-tech weapons. Only this will give us the ability to defeat a numerically superior enemy and create conditions to seize the strategic initiative. Another significant challenge is to improve the quality of training for servicemen, especially infantry units, so that they can fully utilize all the capabilities of combat vehicles and Western weaponry.
The responsibility for addressing this task primarily lies with the leadership of the Ground Forces, which have returned in full force from the combat zone. The results of my work will be taken into account in the plans for troop training and management.
Of course, I awarded the best soldiers with commendations and valuable gifts. In personal conversations with our servicemen, we discussed the current situation and ways to address all the problematic issues. We are aware of the real scale and degree of the threat from the enemy and are ready to take adequate and effective actions.
