Ben Hodges focused on the need to support Ukraine in every possible way.
Until the end of 2022, Ukraine will be able to push the Russians back beyond the demarcation line before February 23. This will succeed on one condition - if everything necessary for this will be provided.
This opinion was expressed by the former commander of US troops in Europe, Ben Hodges in an interview with Channel 24.
He is sure that in this situation, the Russian-occupied Crimea will be under Ukrainian control as early as next year.
"I'm sure the Russians don't have the will to fight. They don't join the army. The Kremlin is looking for reserves in North Korea, Africa, Syria. Even though prisons to force someone to fight in the miserable Russian army. part of it. All this suggests that the Russians are vulnerable and exhausted,â he said.
Hodges added that the Russians would "fall apart" if unity and all support for Ukraine were maintained:
"I feel like we're in for some tough fighting over the next few weeks, and potentially Russian troops going down the drain. I don't see how they can improve their situation anytime soon. However, we need to provide Ukraine with everything it needs."
Recall that earlier, Hodges said that the Russian army a few weeks ago reached a climax in the war with Ukraine: the logistics of the invaders are becoming more and more unreliable, and the soldiers do not particularly want to fight.
