On the territory of Belarus, they are preparing an analog of the fighters of the private Russian armed formation of PMC "Wagner" for the invasion of Ukraine.

We are talking about a private security company (PSC) "GardService", which already has more than a thousand people. Details about the possible danger and the training of new "fighters" were told by the representative of the Joint Transitional Cabinet of Svetlana Tikhanovskaya for defense and national security, Valery Sakhashchik, DW reports.

According to him, the company's personnel are actively preparing for military operations: the relevant training is already taking place at several Belarusian training grounds.

"I know that the 5th Special Forces Brigade officers are training GuardService employees at their training ground. In addition, the company took over the base of the former Dynamo special training center. Active operations are also taking place there," he said.

Active recruitment for participation in the PSC has been going on for several months. At the same time, the number of GardService participants has recently increased significantly: basically, the personnel structure has been expanded by officers, ensigns, sergeants, and soldiers who served in the special operations forces and special units of the law enforcement agencies of Belarus. Sakhaschik suggests that their total number may exceed a thousand people.

According to a representative of Tikhanovskaya's headquarters, GuardService members can be used both in sabotage and reconnaissance groups and for assault missions, following the example of the Wagner PMC.
