Experts from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and activists from the "BO Team" group have carried out a series of cyber attacks on Russian objects.
Not only Russian state structures, but also private entities that pay taxes and finance the war against Ukraine were targeted.
During the week of March 11 to March 18, 2024:
- Resources of PJSC "Rostelecom" were attacked - the communication equipment of the Zabaykalsky and Krasnoyarsk regions of Russia was disabled.
- Access to the electronic document management system of the "Government of the Belgorod Region" was obtained, and fake emails were sent to 12 thousand local officials.
- Communication equipment of LLC "Belznak" was attacked and disabled.
- Information resources of the "Municipal Budgetary Institution Starooskolskoye City Multifaceted Production Association of Municipal Economy" were attacked and destroyed.
- Infrastructure of CJSC "TomMoloko" was attacked and destroyed.
- Server infrastructure along with backup copies of the hosting provider "1Gb.ru" and tens of thousands of websites it serviced were seized and destroyed.
- Over 40 Mikrotik network devices were disabled at the "City Electric Transport Management Center" in Novosibirsk.
The damages inflicted on the Russian state could amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
