Damaged buildings and casualties: Initial details on the aftermath of Russia's attack on Lviv

The Russian Federation carried out a massive shelling of Ukraine on the morning of September 4. Specifically, in Lviv, there are reports of damaged buildings and casualties.

This was reported by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, and the city's mayor, Andriy Sadovyi.

"As a result of the enemy's shelling in Lviv, residential buildings were damaged," stated the head of the Regional Military Administration at 06:16.

He added that all relevant services have already been dispatched to the scene.

As of 8:50 AM, it is reported that five people have died in Lviv as a result of the Russian attack. According to local authorities, among the victims are a 14-year-old girl and another child.

Additionally, 35 people were injured in the strike on Lviv. Among the injured are five children, with several people in critical condition.

The mayor of the city, Andriy Sadovyi, reported seven victims in Lviv.
