Russian troops executed nine Ukrainian soldiers in the Kursk region. The soldiers had limited ammunition and were forced to surrender.
This was reported by the DeepState service.
Analysts, referencing sources from the 1st Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, noted that the incident occurred on October 10 near the settlement of Zeleny Shlyakh.
Preliminary data indicate that Ukrainian drone operators and their affiliates approached their positions believing they were in relative safety, only to find themselves forced into contact with the enemy and returning fire.
According to DeepState, the limited amount of ammunition meant that Ukrainian fighters had no choice but to surrender.
Analysts have remarked that the situation in the Kursk region is "not so bright." Defense forces are conducting stabilization measures, but recovering lost ground is extremely difficult.
