Roman Pohorily, co-founder of DeepState, announced that the Russian forces have definitively entered the industrial zone of Avdiivka and solidified their presence. He made this statement on the Espresso TV channel.
"Unfortunately, the industrial zone is essentially lost. The occupiers have definitively entered and entrenched themselves there. Russian fighters are constantly present. The red and gray zones are already active combat zones, extending beyond the territory of the industrial zone. Russians are attempting to advance further there," said Pohorily.
He noted that the industrial zone, being a high ground, will have certain consequences for future battles in the city.
"At the moment, the enemy is trying to concentrate its forces there. The Russians have brought infantry and equipment there," Pohorily added.
According to him, the occupiers are also attempting maneuvers to advance in the Stepanove area.
"They are trying to infiltrate everywhere. The Russians are attempting to bypass from the north, towards Berdychiv, and from the south, between Avdiivka Coke Plantâ. Recently, fighters from the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade published footage showing the area completely strewn with the bodies of Russians. Despite this, according to Ukrainian soldiers, the occupiers continue to 'crawl like zombies.' It is very difficult to restrain this pressure," says the co-founder of DeepState.
