As a result of a Ukrainian drone attack on the Russian airfield Morozovsk, an SU-34 and an ammunition depot were destroyed.

According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reports:

"Satellite intelligence shows that as a result of the fire attack on the 'Morozovsk' military airfield in the Rostov region on August 3, 2024, an SU-34 bomber was destroyed. Two other Russian aircraft of the same type were likely damaged by debris, with explosion craters observed near the aircraft. Additionally, the enemy's aviation ammunition depot was completely destroyed, with secondary detonations creating large areas of scorched earth on and around the airfield."

Four technical buildings and two hangars at the Morozovsk airbase, located 265 kilometers from the front line, also sustained clearly visible damage from space.
