Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the HUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, told the military television of Ukraine how terrorist Russia conducted so-called referendums in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

According to the representative of Ukraine's military intelligence, the administration of the President of the Russian Federation coordinated the preparation and implementation of pseudo-will detection events. Russian high-ranking officials were constantly in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, and representatives of the Russian Federation's federal entities assisted with the so-called election commissions.

The representative of the HUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine noted that Russia conducted a powerful information campaign, the main goal of which was to convince the European public that the occupiers comply with the norms of international law.

"According to the HUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Russian propagandists in various places created staged plots. They imported people from the Rostov region and Crimea to create a so-called mass. Show how happy people are, how united they go to vote. This picture will be shown to the Russian audience and they will try to convince Europe that this happened following international law. But we understand that it is a fake. This is another powerful information campaign conducted by the Russian Federation, covering up its crimes," concluded Vadym Skibitskyi, representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Ukraine.
