The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, appointed a new commander for the missile cruiser "Moskva." This is despite the fact that the ship was destroyed in April 2022.
This information is reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine publishes an excerpt from the order of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu No. 1012 with the classification 'for official use,'" the statement reads.
According to a document dated September 10, 2022, a new commander, Andrey Igorovich Savateev, has been appointed to the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the cruiser "Moskva." It should be noted that Savateev assumed the position of the commander as an interim acting official.
