Near Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region, Russian forces are preparing for active combat operations. Meanwhile, around Toretsk, they have begun increasing the frequency of their assaults.
Anastasia Bobovnikova, spokesperson for the Operational Tactical Group Luhansk, discussed the situation surrounding Chasiv Yar in a television broadcast.
“Currently, we’re observing a decrease in the number of assaults compared to other directions. The enemy is amassing resources there. They are preparing for active combat operations, bringing personnel under cover every night, equipped in anti-thermal cloaks. They are also transporting ammunition closer to the front line, as well as weapons and equipment, installing communications on their vehicles, and setting up electronic warfare (EW) systems,” she stated.
Describing the situation around Toretsk, Bobovnikova noted that the Russians have concentrated a “significant force” there, including motorized rifle brigades and special forces units from the Central Military District of the Russian army.
“We are also seeing that they’re accumulating equipment and resources, and as of today, they’ve started to increase the number of assaults. Just a few days ago, it was relatively quiet, but now the enemy is intensifying its pressure,” she added.
