The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky, during a press briefing in the city of Chernobyl, said that Russia is a nuclear terrorist.

"This term was already used when the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was captured. We repeated it for the second time when the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant was captured. Yes, I think we can talk about nuclear terrorism. Today, cruise missiles flew over the Zaporizhzhya NPP, the danger of hitting which is extremely high," the Minister said.

Denis Monastrysky drew the journalists' attention to the fact that according to the military, air defenses, tanks and other military equipment were installed at the Zaporizhzhya NPP and international conventions prohibit this. Russia uses this as pressure on Ukraine and in fact it is nuclear terrorism for the whole world.

"As you know, during the occupation, the enemy deliberately interrupted the energy supply of nuclear fuel storage sites, and the situation was extremely threatening. The level of danger posed here by Russian troops was extremely high. Currently, Ukrainian specialists are in full control of the station, and now there is no danger," the Interior Minister summed up.
