From the evening of December 4th until the morning of December 5th, Russian forces, launching kamikaze drone in various directions, continued their attacks on Ukrainian territory. Additionally, rockets were used for strikes. While most of the targets were successfully intercepted, there were not without consequences - an infrastructure object near Lviv was attacked, resulting in injuries.

Attack on infrastructure object near Lviv:

During the air raid alarm at around 4:00 on December 5th, the enemy launched an attack on an infrastructure object in the Lviv region using three drones.

"As a result of the strike, a fire broke out, which was promptly extinguished by the efforts of the personnel. There is minor damage. Fortunately, there are no casualties or injuries," said Maxim Kozytsky, the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration.

Attack on Borova and Chuguiv in the Kharkiv region:

Despite successfully intercepting most of the Russian kamikaze drones, in the Kharkiv region, an enemy drone struck the villages of Borova in the Izyum district and Chuguiv.

"At 21:30 in Chuguiv, as a result of the impact of two UAVs, three houses were damaged, windows were knocked out, and roofs were damaged. A 41-year-old civilian man sustained explosive injuries without hospitalization," said Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Regional State Administration.

Regarding Borova, the strikes by kamikaze drones damaged the cultural center, a store, and private houses. However, according to the head of the Regional State Administration, there were no casualties.

After 20:00, the Air Force reported the threat of Russian strike UAVs in the Kharkiv region. Within an hour, the military specified that a group of enemy "Shaheds" had been detected in the Chuguiv area. Additionally, there were reports of a drone group flying towards the Mykolaiv region, including Ochakiv, and towards the Vinnytsia and Kirovohrad regions. Explosions during the air raid alarm were reported in Vinnytsia.

Air defense systems successfully targeted "Shaheds" in multiple regions, shooting down 10 out of 17 Russian drones. The drones were launched from two directions - Kursk region and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia.

"As a result of combat operations, 10 strike UAVs were destroyed in various regions of Ukraine," later clarified the Air Force.

Specifically, according to the Southern Defense Forces, during the nighttime drone attack in their area of responsibility, air defense systems destroyed 4 "Shahed-131/136" UAVs: 2 in the Mykolaiv region and one each in the Kherson and Vinnytsia regions.

Around 22:00, in addition to drone threats, a missile danger emerged. Warnings were issued in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Kirovohrad regions.

As later indicated by the Ukrainian Air Force, apart from drones, invaders also employed six guided anti-aircraft missiles from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system. Specifically, according to Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, a private house in Ochakiv was damaged due to enemy shelling at 01:07 on December 5. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

In addition, according to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, the occupiers carried out an airstrike on the settlement of Pivnichne in the Donetsk region. Five apartment buildings were damaged, and emergency services rescued one person.

"Selydove city also came under enemy shelling. A five-story educational building, 2 private enterprises, and a residential building were destroyed. Fortunately, no one was harmed," he added.

At 23:20, the occupiers launched missile strikes on the city of Kherson. The building of a cinema was hit, and firefighters managed to extinguish the resulting fire.
