Dmytro Pletenchuk, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Navy, confirmed the destruction of the Russian railway ferry "Conro Trader" in the port of Kavkaz in Russia's Krasnodar Krai. He made this announcement during an interview on Radio Free Europe as part of the Svoboda.Ranok project.

Pletenchuk also confirmed that the vessel sank after being struck.

"We can confirm that this target was destroyed by the Navy. This ferry is one of the crucial links in Russia's military logistics, primarily for supplying the occupying forces with fuel and lubricants, but it also transported weapons. Therefore, it is a completely legitimate target. This action is expected to reduce the enemy's capabilities in the locations where they are conducting active combat operations," Pletenchuk stated.

He did not specify what was used to strike the "Conro Trader."
