During a Russian air attack on Odessa, a residential building and maternity hospital were hit.
This was reported by Odessa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov on Telegram.
"A strike on a residential building has been recorded. Preliminary reports indicate one fatality and three people hospitalized; the number of injured is being clarified," he wrote.
As a result of the drone attack, the administrative wing of a maternity hospital in Odessa was also damaged, but there were no casualties.
"During the nighttime attack by combat drones, the administrative part of a maternity hospital was damaged. Fortunately, there were no deaths or injuries," he added.
However, the mayor emphasized that the very fact that a facility where life begins came under attack is striking in its cruelty.
According to the investigation, on the night of June 10, the Russian armed forces attacked Odessa with strike drones. Preliminary data indicates that the enemy used more than 10 UAVs.
As a result of the attack, two men were killed. Nine people were injured: five women and three men sustained wounds, and one woman experienced an acute stress reaction.
Residential buildings, a maternity hospital, an emergency medical station, a private medical clinic, a sports complex, the zoo, the railway station building, and civilian vehicles were damaged.
The inspection is ongoing, and a full list of destruction and damage is being compiled. Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of Russia’s armed aggression at the scenes.
