Due to the massive missile attack by the Russians, there are damages to the "Ukrenergo" and regional power grids in Kyiv and the surrounding area. Over 250,000 consumers are without power.
According to the company's press service, all power outages are related to combat actions, and there are no planned schedules for disconnections.
"The restoration work will begin immediately after assessing the extent of damage by repair teams from 'Ukrenergo' and regional power companies," the statement says.
According to the Ministry of Energy's press service, the extensive missile shelling in Kyiv damaged an overhead line, several substations are without voltage, and 259,000 consumers are without power.
In the Kyiv region, high-voltage lines are disrupted due to shelling, with power outages in the Bucha and Vyshhorod districts. Equipment at the substation was also affected.
Additionally, there were temporary disruptions in the operation of hydroelectric power stations.
"The power engineers will promptly start restoring equipment as soon as the security situation allows," the statement concludes.
