The head of the Department of Foreign Intelligence Service of Estonia, Kaupo Rosin, said that in the event of Ukraine's defeat in the war, its resources will be taken away and turned against the West. The ERR portal reports.
"This war must end with the victory of Ukraine, and there are no other options. And if it ends with the victory of Ukraine, we can all feel a little calmer here. On the other hand, if serious military damage is inflicted on Russia, it will invest huge resources in restoring and developing its military potential, and then our task will be to keep Russia at least on its own territory," said Rosin.
"If Ukraine loses, we will get a catastrophic picture in the security field. Then Ukraine's resources will also be taken away and turned against the West, including us. This would only encourage Russia, and Russia would see that the war is paying off. Then we would get a completely new picture of security," Kaupo Rosin added.
