The 21-year-old athlete performed an extremely difficult bFtFF jump in the super final - a triple somersault with five screws called "Hurricane" and received 138.32 out of 156 possible points from the judges. The Ukrainian became the second athlete in history to perform it successfully at competitions.
This achievement became a new record for Ukraine, and Dmytro Kotovsky won his first victory at the World Cup.
The Ukrainian "flying skier" rose to second place in the overall standings of the World Cup, losing only 18 points to the leader, Swiss Noah Roth, and entered the fight for the Crystal Globe.
