Renato Ruszczyk, general manager of the Lactalis group in Ukraine, received on March 17, 2021 the officer badges of the "Order of Merit in Agriculture" from the hands of the French Ambassador to Ukraine, Etienne de Poncins.
The Order of Agricultural Merit is a special distinction that comes to reward the services rendered to agriculture and the outreach of France's know-how around the world.
The ceremony took place at the residence of the French Ambassador in Kyiv, in a restricted committee.
Renato Ruszczyk had an international career that led him to Brazil, USA, then Ukraine, where he has been leading the Ukrainian branch of Lactalis for thirteen years and is responsible for industrial and commercial activities of the company in Ukraine, as well as in Moldova.
The manager participated in the development of agriculture in Ukraine and is known for his work in the dairy sector. He brought expertise to foster the farming model and structure this industry.
The French Ambassador thanked and congratulated Mr. Ruszczyk for the work carried out all these years, which led to Lactalis Ukraine acquiring national and international outreach. Lactalis is one of the first exporters of dairy products, where 1000 employees work in its two plants: Nikolaiev and Pavlograd.
Renato Ruschik is also a pillar for the business community of France in Ukraine and is a member of the agricultural committee of the Franco-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
