On the Tavria front, the Russian forces is regrouping, and the Defense Forces are preparing for an increase in its activity. Colonel Oleksandr Shtupun, the spokesperson for the Unified Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria Direction, reported this during the TV telethon.
"As of 6 a.m., the enemy has not carried out airstrikes in our operational zone for 2 days; however, yesterday there was a slight increase in artillery activity - 703 artillery shelling incidents were recorded. There were fewer clashes yesterday - only 30 - and the use of FPV drones. But the enemy is regrouping, and we are preparing for an increase in its activity," said Shtupun.
He noted that on the eve, the main efforts of the Russian forces were concentrated near Avdiivka, Nevelske, and Pervomaiske. In total, 23 enemy attacks were repelled on the Avdiivka front.
In addition, according to the spokesperson, 6 attacks were repelled near Heorhiivka, Mariinka, and Novomykhailivka. The enemy also made an unsuccessful attempt to advance further west of Verbovyi.
Shtupun emphasized that the Russian grouping on the Avdiivka front consists of over 40,000 personnel. Enemy losses amounted to almost 300 individuals and 27 pieces of equipment during the day.
"In the operational zone of the Unified Forces 'Tavria,' the total losses (of RF ) yesterday amounted to 296 individuals and 27 pieces of military equipment, including 3 tanks, 1 armored vehicle, 1 artillery system, and 6 vehicles. Also, 1 enemy ammunition depot ceased to exist," the spokesperson informed.
According to him, 6 Russian military personnel also surrendered into captivity yesterday.
