General Staff reports 175 combat clashes on the front line in a day

During the past day, 175 combat clashes took place on the front line, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its morning briefing on December 10.

According to the data provided, most clashes occurred in three directions.

"Fifty-one attacks were repelled by our defenders in the Pokrovske direction over the past day. The greatest activity of enemy troops was observed near Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Promen, Dachenko, Chumatske, and Shevchenko. Defense forces continue to hold the enemy back in the Kurakhivka direction. In the areas of Sontivka, Stari Terniv, Zori, Dalni, Dachne, and Kurakhove, occupiers attempted to breach Ukrainian defensive positions 40 times," the report states.

 

In addition, according to the General Staff, 27 attacks by Ukrainian forces were stopped in the Kostiantynivka, Novosilka, and near Sukhyi Yaliv, Storozheve, Neskuchne, and Blahodatne in the Vremivka direction.

Combat operations are also ongoing in the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Dnipro, and Kursk regions within Russia.

"According to updated information, the enemy launched 37 aerial strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, dropping 57 guided aerial bombs. In addition, over four thousand shelling attacks were carried out, including 115 from multiple rocket launchers. Furthermore, 1,617 kamikaze drones were deployed for strikes," the report states.
