Gudkov noted that the founder of Wagner and Kadyrov are simply people whom Putin "sets" against certain individuals.

Gennady Gudkov, a Russian oppositionist and ex-deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, said that Russian President Putin decided to "kill" his generals. To do this, he also uses his "chain dogs" - the founder of the PMC "Wagner" Yevgeny Prigozhin and the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov.

Gudkov spoke about this on the air of the FREEDOM project.

According to the oppositionist, all the "quarrels" that allegedly arise between Prigozhin and Kadyrov and the generals of the Russian army are in fact the dictator's plan.

“Don’t think there are any two independent figures, especially political ones, Prigozhin and Kadyrov. These are Putin’s watchdogs. So he shortened the leash, and they began to bark less. That, in fact, is their whole role. In general, I had a proposal to send Prigozhin to the G-20 negotiations, in connection with the danger for Putin to be an outcast there. And many people, millions of people, already demand to shoot down his plane. Because it’s just for Prigozhin to go to the G- 20 it will be worthy, so to speak, to represent the criminal Putin regime or, so to speak, such a criminal who is mired in the bloodiest deeds around the world," Gudkov said.

According to the publicist, now Putin should be told that his "chain dog" Prigogine will indeed fly to the negotiations and will voice everything that he cannot and does not want to say. Gudkov noted that the founder of Wagner and Kadyrov are simply people whom Putin "sets" against certain individuals. They do not have their own opinion, so they act according to a clear plan.

The dictator, according to Gudkov, through Prigozhin and Kadyrov, begins to "persecute" the generals. They criticize the military solely at the request of Putin.

"Either Putin will kill the generals, or the generals will do something with Putin. Here, Putin decided to kill all the generals, he will blame them for all the mistakes in the war, all the mistakes, all the shortcomings," the oppositionist noted and added that to " persecution" of the generals, propagandists have already joined in, among them Solovyov.

As analysts at the Institute for the Study of War noted earlier, Kadyrov and Prigogine will try to salvage their reputation with successes in the Donetsk region. After that, information appeared that "Putin's cook" Prigozhin was allegedly already undermining the Kremlin's power and began to oppose Russian President Putin indirectly.
