Russian authorities are "flooding" the mobilization with money, noted Gudkov.
Due to significant losses on the front in Ukraine, the Russian forces lack people, hence a new wave of mobilization in Russia is inevitable. The Russian army is now recruiting just about anyone, targeting those who are enticed by the opportunity to earn money.
As remarked by Russian opposition figure Gennady Gudkov, Russian authorities are using financial incentives to drive mobilization efforts and plan to mobilize 300,000 individuals.
"While they have a destitute and manipulated population that can be bought with these meager sums... But this too isn't endless. They will be ground up as well... There is fatigue in the army, moral desolation, degradation..." he stated.
Commenting on a recent statement by Kremlin dictator Dmitry Peskov's spokesperson that Putin will garner 90% support in the 2024 Russian presidential elections, Gudkov dismissed it as nonsense:
"The real rating of Putin is 20-25%.... There is no actual societal consolidation in Russia. The country is on the brink of a civil war."
