During a working trip to Chernihiv region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky inspected the progress of construction of fortification structures of a support point.
The head of state examined reinforced concrete structures, trenches, bunkers, firing positions, trenches for armored personnel carriers, and anti-tank ditches. The support point is equipped with non-explosive barriers to restrain enemy vehicles.
The President was briefed on the construction of three lines of defense perimeters in the region. According to the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, the region is enhancing its capital fortifications. In particular, along the entire border with Russia and Belarus, a continuous strip of non-explosive obstacles, mine barriers, and a branched network of support points have been established.
