From 2017 to 2023, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, over 9,000 human rights violations have been recorded, with nearly 6,400 related to representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people.
The Ministry of Reintegration reported.
"After the occupation of the peninsula in 2014, the situation with human rights does not improve. The aggressor country continues repression, putting pressure on Crimean Tatars and pro-Ukrainian activists."
Human rights violations are most frequently documented during arrests, interrogations, and court hearings. Additionally, the right to preserve one's health is regularly restricted for those detained.
